Housefull 4: Ranjeet's Role Was First Offered To Boman Irani- EXCLUSIVE
The very talented Boman Irani has been a constant in all the Housefull films, but he was missing from the fourth instalment. Well, SpotboyE.com has it that the actor was offered to play a pivotal part in Housefull 4 as well, but things didn’t materialize and he was replaced by Ranjeet.

In the film, Ranjeet is seen essaying the dual roles of Maharaja Surya Singh Rana and Thakral. If Boman had given his nod, you would see him playing the characters. In the earlier instalments, Boman essayed the role of Batuk Patel.

We texted the actor, but he didn’t reply. Well, it’d have been interesting to see Boman return for the fourth one.

Speaking of the film Housefull 4, the collections have crossed Rs 150 Cr. Despite mixed reviews, the numbers have been favourable. While, the box-office figures paint a rosy picture, Ronnie Screwvala’s tweet about the figures being fake gave birth to a new controversy.

When Akshay Kumar was quizzed about the same during a media interaction, he seemed at ease and unruffled by the reports as he simply said, "I think whatever Fox (Star Studios) studio writes it. And whatever boxofficeIndia (perhaps referring to the popular trade portal), or exhibitors or distributors are writing. That’s what it is. The last I read it was Rs 137 crore nett."

When we spoke to Akshay, he even addressed the controversy surrounding the 3 pigeons named Neil, Nitin and Mukesh in the film and revealed that the actor knew about the usage of his name for the film in advance.
