Helmet Trailer OUT: Aparshakti Khurana And Pranutan Bahl Starrer Quirky Comedy Wants To Break The Taboo Around Condoms
Aparshakti Khurana is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Helmet,’ a social satire that serves an important message packaged with some tasteful humour. Produced by Dino Morea, the quirky comedy will show how people are still shy of buying condoms from stores, thinking about what society might perceive about them. The makers have released the trailer of the film and it looks quite promising. Helmet will be Aparshakti’s first movie as the main lead and the actor seems to be following his brother Ayushmann Khurrana’s footsteps - by doing socially relevant movies.

Sharing the trailer on his Instagram, Aparshakti wrote, “ARE YOU READY FOR IT? Condom maangna India me bhaari hai aur yeh soochna janhit me jaari hai! Stay tuned for one hell of a maddening ride filled with laughter. #HelmetOn #HelmetOnZEE5 #TrailerOutNow #ComingSoon.”

In the video, Khurana's character can be seen struggling to buy condoms. We see him asking a chemist for a condom but people around him start staring at him, he gets so nervous that he ends up buying everything from shampoo to churan, except for the one thing that he needed.

Take a look at the trailer below:

Directed by debutante director Satram Ramani, the  film also stars Dino Morea, Pranutal Behl, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Verma and among others.

In a statement, Aparshakti Khurana shared, “I had a great time shooting for Helmet. The cast and the crew became more than a family. Kudos to Rohan Shankar the writer and Satram the director of the film for creating such a fun world. Looking forward to sharing it with all of you.”

The film will premiere on September 3, on Zee 5.
