Hathras Rape Case: Tanushree Dutta Reacts To The Incident; Expresses Her Disappointment Over The Same
Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta was spending her quarantine break in the US, during the lockdown days. The actress recently returned to the country and is deeply saddened by watching what’s happening in the country. In an interview with NavbharatTimes.com, Tanushree Dutta reacted to the brutal Hathras rape case. The actress expressed her disappointment over the alleged rape of the 19-year-old Dalit woman by four upper-caste men, in UP’s Hathras and asked why the children and sons of the country are turning into beats.

Speaking up about the incidents like rape or any kind of exploitation done to women, Tanushree Dutta said her heart hurts. The actress went on to talk about how the women of the country have high hopes from the people and mentioned how men should protect women. She then questioned why men are sexually exploiting women instead of protecting them and asked why are becoming cruel. Dutta said that as people of the country if something of these sorts is happening, everyone has to take responsibility. Talking about the incidents of rapes, Tanushree said that if the women of the society we are living in are being raped in it, then there is a lot of dirt and disbelief in the minds of some people.

Tanushree Dutta explained further how when a child is born, he is innocent and there is no dirt in his mind. She then said that society needs to understand and improve why and how the innocence in a child disappeared, which ultimately turns him into a beast. The actress also called out all the ‘sharif’ people who promote such behaviour and said that there is no difference between those who promote bad people.

Meanwhile, Tanushree Dutta also mentioned that the change will come from everyone, and stressed on the fact that everyone needs to change themselves. The actress urged people to change themselves and their mentality first to bring out a change and help to protect women.
