Hathras Gang Rape: Kareena Kapoor Khan Demands Justice For 19-Year-Old Girl Who Succumbed To Brutal Injuries, Says 'So Sorry'

Social media is expressing their anger over the brutal gang rape of a 19-year-old girl that took place in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras, on September 14. Netizens have been fuming over the news of the victim's death. In the recent update, UP Police cremated the victim's mortal remains at 2:30 in the morning, keeping the current scene in the mind. Victim’s family claims that police didn't bring their daughter home one last time. Stars like Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Farhan Akhtar, Huma Qureshi and many more have taken to their social media handles and expressed their anger over this matter.
Now Kareena Kapoor Khan has taken to her Insta story to offer her condolences to the victim’s family and demand justice for the victim. She wrote on Insta story, “'So Sorry Manisha #Hathras #JusticeforMainsha #JusticeforManishaValmiki.” Earlier, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Angry & Frustrated!Such brutality in #Hathras gangrape.When will this stop?Our laws & their enforcement must be so strict that the mere thought of punishment makes rapists shudder with fear!Hang the culprits.Raise ur voice to safeguard daughters & sisters-its the least we can do.”
Speaking about the barbaric incident, ANI quotes Hathras gangrape victim's brother saying, “We demand from state government that this matter be investigated and the culprits be hanged. We also want security. Administration is putting us under a lot of pressure. We don't trust the local Police, there should be a judicial investigation.”
Meanwhile, four accused in the gang rape have already been arrested and Police are investigating the matter closely to ensure that rapists of the crime are put behind the bars. On the other hand, Hathras district administration said a compensation of Rs 10 lakhs will be provided to the victim's family.
