Has Arjun Kapoor Replaced Akshay Kumar In Vipul Shah’s Namastey England?
Rumour has it that Akshay Kumar is not a part of Namastey England anymore, a sequel to 2007 hit Namastey London.

Well yes, the film, helmed by Vipul Shah, is already in trouble!

Not just this, SpotboyE.com has it that if the plan works out, then Arjun Kapoor will replace Akshay Kumar in the film.

And guess who will be playing his love interest? It’s not Sonakshi Sinha for sure, as reported earlier. Parineeti Chopra will recreate the Ishaqzaade magic with Arjun Kapoor one more time.

A few days back, reports suggested that Akshay has delayed the film by 4 months as he wants to complete the shoot of Rajinikanth’s 2.0. Vipul Shah had confirmed the news of the delay as well.

BUT the latest update is that Akshay Kumar has opted out of the film. We hear that the reason for Akshay’s exit is his deliberate attempt to do only hardcore meaningful cinema and not take up many commercial masala films.

We have also learnt that this was the reason Akshay was delaying Vipul’s film since sometime before opting out of it.

This might have left Vipul upset but neither has Akshay nor Vipul have spoken about this to anybody yet.

Namastey London, which also starred Katrina Kaif in the lead along with Rishi Kapoor, Javed Sheikh, Upen Patel and Clive Standen in supporting roles, was originally based on a true life story of Akshay Kumar's friend.

The film was a box-office success and also earned Akshay Kumar a Filmfare Award Best Actor nomination.

Vipul Shah and Akshay Kumar go back a long way. They have done a number of films together like-Aankhen (2002), Waqt (2005), Action Replayy (2010), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Holiday (2014). Besides an elaborate professional relationship, they also share a great friendship.

With their strong equation, you never know if Vipul manages to get Akshay back on the project.
