Saif Ali Khan, also known as the Nawab of Bollywood, turns a year old today. The Bollywood star is currently winning hearts of his fans with his performance in Netflix’s crime thriller Sacred Games 2. The charming actor has had a long journey in Bollywood and over his career span, he has played some extremely interesting characters on-screen.  Saif is celebrating his 49thbirthday today and on this occasion, we bring you five films of the actor in which he wowed us with his remarkable performances! Dil Chahta Hai (2001)
Saif Ali Khan played the role of Sameer and absolutely nailed his part in this benchmark film on friendships! We loved his friendship with other lead characters (played by Aamir Khan and Akshaye Khanna) and his goofy fun personality in the film.


Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003)
Saif Ali Khan’s role as Rohit in Kal Ho Naa Ho was quite heartening and left the audience impressed! He also bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role.


Parineeta (2005)
Saif portrayed quite a complex character in his film Parineeta co- starring with Vidya Balan. He played a passionate musician and this role was very different from his previous ones. Despite being challenging, he pulled it off like a pro!


Omkara (2006)
Saif’s role in Omkara was lauded by the audience, despite playing the role of a villain Ishwar ‘Langda’ Tyagi. He played the role brilliantly and we couldn’t imagine anybody else playing that character.


Love Aaj Kal (2009)
Saif Ali Khan’s fun performance in this film opposite Deepika Padukone won the audience’s hearts!


 

Saif Ali Khan is the son of late cricketer and the Nawab of Pataudi Mansoor Ali Khan and actress Sharmila Tagore. He made his Bollywood debut in the year 1993 with the film Parampara and has made a long journey ever since. Apart from giving stellar performances in his films, Saif is also a fun doting person in real life. He makes for a doting dad and a great husband too!
