Gulshan Grover Teams Up With Son Sanjay For Hope Solo
Senior actor Gulshan Grover is producing a film titled Hope Solo along with son Sanjay. The venture chronicles stone pelter, Afshan Ashiq, from Kashmir whose only aim in life is to play football for Indian team
Gulshan Grover and his son Sanjay are teaming up for a
film based on stone pelter, Afshan Ashiq, from Kashmir whose only aim in life
is to play football for Indian team and make India proud. The venture in
question goes on floor early next year.
The project is being written by Saiwyn Quadras of Mary
Kom & Neerja fame and will be directed by Manish Harishanker who was chief
AD to Rajkumar Santoshi in Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani & Phata Poster Nikla
Hero.
Sanjay Grover, after finishing his Post Graduation from
UCLA in Los Angeles in Business of Entertainment and Business of Hollywood, was
looking out for good content which he could present in international market
working in Hollywood and he chose this script.
Rajnath Singh And Afshan Ashiq
Sanjay started working at Hollywood film studio MGM as a
producer. He was personally hired by MGM Chairwoman Motion Pictures Worldwide
Marry Parent as Director, Special Projects.
Furthermore, Sanjay has worked as Film Producer in MGM's
films such as James Bond, Spy kids and Hot Tub Machine among others under the
direct guidance of Chairwoman Mary Parent.
He also had an opportunity to work on finance with Tom
Cruz while at MGM. United Artist, which funds many MGM films, was headed by the
actor.
Recently, Afshan Ashiq also met Mehbooba Mufti (CM of
J&K) and Rajnath Singh for their blessings.
