Gully Boy Actor Vijay Raaz Arrested For Allegedly Molesting A Woman Crew Member; Granted Bail - REPORTS

Bollywood actor Vijaz Raaz who has appeared in many films such as Gully Boy, Run, Dedh Ishqiya, Dream Girl, Gulabo Sitabo, Stree, Pataakha, Dishoom and more is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Recently, reports emerged that the actor faced an arrest by Gondia police. As per news agency ANI, the actor was arrested for allegedly molesting a woman crew member. The actor is reportedly shooting in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh for the film called Sherni that features Vidya Balan in the lead role.

The news agency quoted Atul Kulkarni, Additional SP, Gondia saying, "Actor Vijay Raaz (file pic) was arrested from Gondia yesterday allegedly for molesting a woman crew member. A case has been registered." He was taken to Ramnagar Police Station. Further, a report in Mumbai Mirror states that the actor is out on bail. The shooting of the film has come to a halt post his arrest, says the report.

It was recently that the team of Sherni resumed the shooting for the film after it came to a halt in the month of March due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. Pictures of Vidya Balan from the sets had made their way to the internet.

Vijay Raaz was last seen in film Lootcase along with Kunal Kemmu. The actor is soon to be seen in Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. The actor is also said to have a pivotal role to play in Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
