Guess Who Will Play Sanjay Dutt's Close Friend In Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Biopic?
Vicky Kaushal will play the man who stood with Sanjay Dutt through thick and thin in the biopic of the troubled actor
He was last seen playing a drug-addled cop in Anurag Kashyap's Raman Raghav 2.0 but Vicky Kaushal's latest collaboration is a lot less sinister.
Vicky is the latest addition to the cast of Sanjay Dutt's bio-pic which is being helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Ranbir Kapoor headlines the cast as Sanju baba and SpotboyE.com was the first to tell you that Sonam Kapoor has been roped in to play Tina Munim, one of Sanjay's earliest love interests (SCOOP: Sonam & Ranbir Back As Lovers?, Nov 23).
The film is a hot ticket release and will mark Vicky's foray into star-studded films.
The actor has already established himself as a powerhouse performer with roles in critically acclaimed films like Masaan, where he played a small-town guy who falls in love with an upper caste girl.

It was with that performance that he had caught Rajkumar Hirani's eye and now Vicky is set to play buddies with Ranbir.
Interestingly, Vicky had lost out on big budget film, thanks to Ranbir's ex girlfriend and now close friend Deepika Padukone. Reports claimed that the actor lost his role in Padmavati after Deepika expressed her reservations about him to the film's director Sanjay Leele Bhansali.
Thankfully for Vicky, Hirani is assured that he is the perfect fit for the role.
The actor has already met Sanjay and Ranbir in a bid to prepare for the role.
