DCP Raj Tilak Roshan told India Today that no case was registered against Raveena. He explained that the incident began when Raveena's car was reversing, and a woman walking past became angry and told the driver to be more careful. Although the car did not touch the woman, a verbal altercation ensued. Raveena then got out of the car and argued with the woman. Since no written complaints were filed by either party, no case was pursued.

In the aftermath of the incident, Kangana Ranaut released a statement supporting Raveena Tandon. On her Instagram story, Kangana wrote, "What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming. Had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group, she would have been lynched. We condemn such road rage outbursts. Those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behaviour."

Despite the ordeal, Raveena has returned to work. She was last seen in the film 'Patna Shukla' and is now looking forward to her next project, the upcoming comedy film 'Welcome to the Jungle,' which also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
