Initially, reports indicated that Vikas was charged with road homicide as Italian prosecutors launched an investigation following the tragic death of a Swiss couple in the accident. However, the most recent update on the case reveals that Vikas Oberoi has denied any such charges and clarified that no charges have been filed against him in the Italy car crash. Following the car crash, a video of the accident quickly circulated on the internet, depicting the collision between the Lamborghini driven by the couple and a Ferrari. Images from the scene of the accident also surfaced online, showing Gayatri in a state of shock as she sat on the road after the harrowing incident. Tragically, the Swiss couple, Melissa Krautli (63) and Markus Krautli (67), lost their lives at the scene, while Gayatri and Vikas emerged from the accident unharmed.
