On the last day of Ganesh Chaturthi festivities, Shah Rukh Khan bade goodbye to Lord Ganesha. He shared a picture of the Ganpati idol at his home, saying he prayed for the well-being of everyone with a wish to see Him again next year. He captioned the photo, "May Lord Ganesha's blessings remain with all of us until we see him again next year... Ganpati Bappa Morya!!!"
Reacting to his post, one fan commented, "Celebrating every festival, spreading love and harmony in the society, and having books of all religions on your shelf - you can carry the true essence of the culture of India.." Another wrote, "Ganpati Bappa Morya."
Last year, Shah Rukh Khan sent out warm wishes to his fans. Sharing a monochrome picture with a red tikka on his forehead, he wrote, "Prayers and visarjan done... This #GaneshChaturthi may Lord Ganesha bestow upon you and your loved ones, blessings and happiness... Ganpati Bappa Morya!" SRK's fans are eagerly waiting for him to announce his next film. He was last seen on the big screen in director Aanand L Rai's Zero. The actor has been busy shooting for his comeback film, an action-thriller titled Pathan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. His pictures from the sets of the film had also gone viral on social media. The film is yet to be officially announced.
Besides that, SRK is also reported to have signed Tamil filmmaker Atlee's next. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Sunil Grover. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the movie features Shah Rukh Khan in a double role.
