Gajendra Singh Summoned To The Police Station

The brain behind many hit shows on Tv, which includes Close Up Antakshari, Sur Kshetra and India’s Raw Star, is apparently in trouble again. At noon today, the director-producer was taken to a police station in the suburbs where one of his ex-employees had lodged a complaint.

When spoken to a source connected to the case, we got a confirmation that Gajendra was indeed called by the cops to question the issue concerned. The source added, “Gajendra has not been paying his staff salary for the past 5 months. There is currently hardly anyone in the company. When I asked for my share of the money, he said that I have not performed well. But then if that is the case, I wonder why he asked me to join back.”

Apparently the top management of the company has resigned as well. According to the source there is hardly anyone left in the organisation except for Gajendra’s daughter, and a few kids of his relatives. “Whenever someone asks for their money, he avoids the topic. He says he has sources and he is using his power,” he added. Interestingly ten days prior, Gajendra had another complaint filed against him which he resolved after issuing post-dated cheques.

Interestingly Gajendra was arrested in Versova back in 2012 for a case of cheating and failing to attend a court hearing in Kanpur.

We wonder what lies in store for this once-pioneer of music reality shows in India.
