Five Years Of Bajirao Mastani: Priyanka Chopra Celebrates The 'Gentle Strength' Of Kashi Bai
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone was hailed as a visual marvel. The film that chronicled the epic love story of Bajirao and Mastani won several awards. Ranveer essayed the role of Bajirao while Deepika was his Mastani. Priyanka Chopra essayed the role of Kashi Bai - Bajirao's first wife. As the film marks five years of its release, Priyanka took to her social media to celebrate the glorious Kashi Bai.

Sharing the video of Kashi Bai, Priyanka Chopra wrote, "With extremely fond memories of a glorious experience playing the gentle strength of Kashi we celebrate the #5YearsOfBajiraoMastani. Congratulations Sanjay sir @RanveerOfficial @deepikapadukone @tanviazmi and everyone on the team!" While the story was about Bajirao and Mastani, Priyanka Chopra as Kashi Bai had a pivotal role to play.

Earlier, Deepika Padukone too made a post to celebrate five years of Bajirao Mastani. She shared a picture with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and wrote, "Whether in love or war, Mastani was fuelled by her passion, unafraid to write her own destiny, no matter how perilous the path. She never bowed down and always stood her ground with a fierce dignity and a love so strong that its burning embers seared through every societal constraint, to join both her and her lover's names, for all of eternity." Ranveer too shared a video celebrating Bajirao's 'valour', 'loyalty' and more.




Bajirao Mastani released in 2015 and it won seven National Film Awards. It won awards for Best Director, Best Actor for Ranveer Singh and Best Supporting Actor for Priyanka Chopra at 17th IIFA Awards.
