FIRST LOOK: Shraddha Kapoor & Arjun Kapoor Look Adorable In Half Girlfriend

A few minutes back, trade analyst Taran Adarsh released the first look of Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend. He wrote, "And here's the first look of #HalfGirlfriend... Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor."


The poster is colourful and simple. It shows Shraddha and Arjun enjoying the rains and getting all romantic. Interestingly, Shraddha’s Aashiqui 2 with Aditya Roy Kapur too showed her enjoying the rains in the film’s first poster.

Arjun and Shraddha have been posting pictures from the sets of late. Recently, Arjun Kapoor, posted a series of his photographs from the film playing basket ball and tweeted, “Playing it up for my #halfgirlfriend! #19thMay”.

Chetan Bhagat also took to Twitter where he posted an exclusive still of Shraddha Kapoor from the movie playing basketball with full concentration. “Totally engrossed in the game. @ShraddhaKapoor’s exclusive still from #halfgirlfriend. Don’t miss the cool sporty hair-do!”

Half Girlfriend, directed by Mohit Sur is based on Chetan Bhagat’s 2014 book of the same name. Arjun and Shraddha are coming together on screen for the first time and their fans just can’t wait to witness their chemistry.

Shraddha will also step behind the mic once again to sing another romantic number in the film. Mithoon, who stepped in the shoes of Ankit Tiwari to compose the music for the film, has composed an 18-minute-long song in the film. Swagger composer Tanishk Bagchi, Ami Mishra, Rishi Richa and Arko also have composed music for the film.

The film’s principal photography commenced in June 2016 and filming locations include New York City, Cape Town, Delhi and Bihar. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on May 19 2017.
