Firoz Nadiadwala to remake Hollywood epic 300?
The Hollywood film 300 made a lot of noise when it released, especially for its stunning visuals and exaggerated violence. Now, SpotboyE has exclusively learnt that Firoz Nadiadwala, who has bankrolled comedies like Welcome, Welcome Back and Phir Hera Pheri, has bought the Indian remake rights to the film.

A source close to the development has informed SpotboyE that Nadiadwala intends to recreate the scale of the film, tailored for Indian audiences. Said the source, "The film will work with the right kind of casting. The project is a long way from here as it requires a lot of rewrites to make it suitable for Indian audiences."

Released in 2007, the Gerard Butler starrer was based on a Frank MIller comic which was about some 300-odd Spartans who had a brutally violent battle with 3,00,000 Persian God Kings. The film hit box-office gold while the critical reception to it remained mixed.
