Firoz Nadiadwala To Produce Palash Muchhal’s Directorial Debut Brojaan

We had earlier told you that composer Palash Muchhal is making his directorial debut with Yami Gautam and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer, Brojaan.

Now we hear that Firoz Nadiadwala is going to produce the film.

A source close to Palash told SpotboyE.com: “It was Palash who had approached Firoz for the film. Firoz was impressed with the three music videos that Palash had directed and he immediately agreed to produce the film."

Though the composer is just 21, Firoz was impressed by his work and decided to back the film. Palash's idea to shoot the film with an iPhone too got the thumps up from Firoz, added the source.

The shooting of the film was to commence in August but got delayed as the actors were to attend a series of workshops before the film went on floors. Brojaan is now scheduled to kickstart by the end of this year.

Palash had also made a teaser to show the producers that an iPhone was compatible with the 70 mm format. Once the film is shot, it would just need normal colour correction and it will look like a film shot on conventional cameras.

Palash has also penned the script of the film with his sister Palak Muchhal.

With Brojaan, Palash will become one of the youngest directors in Bollywood and with Firoz's backing, the film is sure to make a splash.

SpotboyE contacted Firoz Nadiadwala for comment, but he chose not to respond.
