KJo and Salman Khan had teamed up as producer and hero on Malhotra's Shuddhi- but the collaboration dissolved following KJo's presence on AIB Roast (Salman says No to Shuddhi, May 8), where some very uncharitable remarks were passed against one of Salman's family members.
In May, the two however patched up when KJo dropped by to meet Salman before his court hearing. which granted him interim bail.
Later, KJo asked Salman to play the lead in Abhishek Varman's period drama Kalankk- which hasn't made any headway yet.
Now, we hear, Salman Khan Films and Dharma Productions will co-produce Tarun Mansukhani's next, which won't be a sequel to Mansukhani's 2008 hit Dostana but a fresh script with romance at its core.
This ambitious co-production is expected to roll in the first quarter of 2016.
