Filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa Rubbishes Writer Jeetendra Gianchandani’s Allegations Claiming 'Janhit Mein Jaari' Is COPIED-REPORTS
Writer Jeetendra Gianchandani has slammed filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa and claimed that the writer-director has stolen the concept and story of his film ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’. However, in a recent interaction with ETimes, Shaandilyaa has reacted and rubbished the allegation.

Recently, Jeetendra claimed that he has co-written the story titled 'Condom Pyaar Ki Pehli Shart' with Gautam Prasad Shaw and it was registered with the Screen Writers Association in 2019.

Jeetendra revealed, "Gautam had registered the script in his name in 2017. I had received the story from a director to improvise it further. In 2019, the said director liked my story and called Gautam and I to work together. We registered the story jointly in October 2019. Gautam pitched the story to Raaj in June 2020 and then Shaandilyaa announced the movie 'Janhit Mein Jaari' in November 2020."

The writer also claimed that he has also filed a case with the Versova police and another compliant with SWA, which is pending a hearing. He has also informed that his co-writer is not with him in his fight on a copyright infringement case against Shaandilyaa, reported ETimes.

He said, “There are many aspiring writers who don't have resources to fight unethical practices in the Bollywood fraternity by established production houses.”

Meanwhile, Shaandilyaa has rubbished the allegations and said, “We have already replied to them with a legal notice and for your kind information our story was registered in 2017. Anyone can come and claim anything today,” as quoted by ETimes.
