Filmmaker And Artist Muzaffar Ali, Known For The Classic Umrao Jaan Announces His Painting Exhibition From July 16
Artist and filmmaker Muzaffar Ali’s painting exhibition will be held at Hyderabad’s Kalakriti Gallery, he also posted a video giving a glimpse of his artwork
Filmmaker- artist Muzaffar Ali’s known for his abstract landscape has good news for art lovers. As per his latest social media post, from July 16 onwards his art pieces, which were moved online due to the lockdown, will be once again available in the gallery in Hyderabad. This painting exhibition will kick start at Hyderabad’s Kalakriti Gallery. Announcing this news, he penned in his social media post, “My long awaited paintings exhibition opens at Kalakriti Gallery in Hyderabad on 16th July...”
The renowned artist speaking about these art pieces took a poetic route, as he explained each of the paintings featured in the video. A captivating element in this video is the giant chessboard with the creatively crafted king, rook, bishop, queen, knight, and pawn placed on the board. Also, witnessed in the video are art pieces drawing one closer to nature such as a bird, probably made out of wood.

Reacting to this art lovers congratulated him and a few also assured him to visit the exhibition to be commencing from July 16. Just like his painting his movies too provided a glimpse of the human condition, best example of it is his classic movies Umrao Jaan starring Rekha and Gaman. Umrao Jaan was praised as the director got in royal aesthetic and storytelling aspects to his film, thus winning the hearts of the audiences.
