The film was first offered to Shahid Kapoor who said ‘Yes’ and then quit the film. Arjun Kapoor was roped in as the replacement of Shahid, but he too stepped out of the project soon.

The makers were hoping to get third time lucky with Harshvardhan but we can tell you, that the newbie too has walked away from the film.
The reasons are unknown but we will surely get back to you with the reason why Anil Kapoor's son decided to step away from the film.

A possible reason could be the sad box-office fate of Raj & DK’s latest film, A Gentleman, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Harshvardhan meanwhile has started preparing for his third film which is based on the life of Abhinav Bindra, the first Indian to win an individual Olympic medal at Beijing in 2008.
Harshvardhan posted a video on Instagram, which gave a glimpse of his training session . He is holding a rifle and getting his posture right before aiming at the target. He captioned the video: “#PrepMode! What a great feeling to be back in prep mode for my next movie. I always enjoy this time and here is when I really start shaping into the role I'm about to play. Can't wait to take you guys along with me on this journey #AbhinavBindra #LetsDoThis.”
