Farmers Protest: Diljit Dosanjh Hails Rihanna, Expresses His Gratitude Towards Her After Kangana Ranaut Calls Her A ‘Fool’

International pop icon Rihanna took social media by storm after she took to her Twitter account and showed her support to the farmers’ protest in India. Her tweet drew international attention to the farmers’ protest in India, and soon after, various international public figures such as Lilly Singh, Greta Thunberg, Amanda Cerny, Jay Sean, and many others shared posts, showing their support to the protesting farmers. While Rihanna’s tweet didn’t go down well with Kangana Ranaut, Diljit Dosanjh expressed his gratitude towards Rihanna for showing her support to the farmers.
Rihanna took to her Twitter and questioned why no one is talking about the farmers’ protest in India. Diljit Dosanjh took to his Instagram stories and shared a lovely snap of Rihanna. While he didn’t write a caption over the picture, he instead showed his gratitude and hyped her up by playing her song ‘Run This Town’ in the background of his Instagram story. He also took to his Twitter and shared a Punjabi proverb that read, “Jaat Di Kohr Kirli, Shateeriyan Nu Jaffe...” This proverb in English means that your status in life is rather insignificant, but you know how to talk big.”
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut had lashed out at Rihanna and also called her a fool. She tweeted, “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA... Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies.”
Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebrities such as Richa Chadha, Shibani Dandekar, director Hansal Mehta, and others reacted to Rihanna's tweet about the ongoing farmers’ protest.
