Actor Deepika Padukone, who is one of the most sought after actors of Bollywood, found herself in the hot waters for auctioning off her clothes. To be precise, not just any other clothes of hers but the ones netizens claimed she wore at funerals. DP, who is also the founder of Live Love Laugh Foundation, often sells off her stunning clothes; however, the cause this time was trolled by netizens and she was slammed for auctioning the clothes that netizens claimed she wore at Jiah Khan's funeral.
Deepika’s team had to later clarify the actor wore the dress at Jiah’s prayer meet and not her funeral.
Seeing so much hue and cry online, Deepika's fans quickly came to her defence and saw her cause with a different perspective. One fan commented, “Honestly we can take inspration from Deepika on this one. There are so many clothes that we wear barely once or twice, it's great if others can get a benefit out of it,” while another one said, “You can imitate celebrities but it's not often that you get your hands on the real deal.
