EXCLUSIVE! Gulmohar Fame Kaveri Seth Heaps Praises On Sharmila Tagore; Says, ‘Loved The Playful Energy She Brought To Her Character’
Young and talented actor Kaveri Seth is receiving a lot of love from audiences and critics alike for her character 'Divya' in Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore starrer Gulmohar. Being her first film, the actress says she couldn’t have asked for a more memorable debut.

Apart from sharing screen space with some of the most talented and versatile actors, Kaveri is glad that she found co-stars who have now become like family, “Gulmohar has been an incredible experience for me. It's a story about family, love, and learning to embrace one another despite our differences, and I have loved being a part of it. The project brought together a group of people who were passionate about creating something honest and beautiful, and I'm grateful to have found mentors and friends who I can now call family", says Kaveri.

The actress further adds that working with Sharmila Tagore will always remain an extremely fond experience, she says "The experience was Incredible and beautiful. Sharmila ji is of course a legend, immensely talented and experienced. And working with her, being with her on set and getting some time off set as well is something I’ll always cherish. She is so precise and observant as an actor and was always kind and welcoming. I loved the playful energy that she brought to her character while also portraying the heavier emotions beautifully.”

Before she began her acting journey, Kaveri had assisted Mira Nair for 'A Suitable Boy' which helped her a lot while shooting for Gulmohar, "Mira introduced me to the world of film-making. Before assisting her, I knew no one in the world of films, so I'm deeply grateful to her for giving me this opportunity. And yes, she also encouraged me to audition for BBC’s A Suitable Boy, eventually casting me as Shireen Irani. She knew I was interested in acting, and I suppose she saw something in me. I’m grateful to her for giving me the push to pursue acting - she said I was meant for it", she concludes.
