Drishyam 2: Ajay Devgn And Tabu To Star In The Hindi Sequel Which Will Soon Go On Floors
Following Malayalam version of Drishyam 2, Ajay Devgn and Tabu have given a nod to star in Hindi version to be shot soon
Moviegoers are in for a treat if everything falls in place, as per reports in Times of India, after the release of Drishyam 2 in Malayalam starring Mohanlal in the lead, it is all set to be created for Hindi speaking audience. And cherry on the cake is the Bollywood version’s lead cast Ajay Devgn and Tabu is all set to come on board. Hindi version of Drishyam released in 2015 had garnered a positive response from the audience, and now Drishyam 2 is in the pipeline stated reports in TOI.
Malayalam flick helmed by Jeethu Joseph will be modified as per producer Kumar Mangat’s who is backing the film, thus making it suitable for pan India audience. A source close to the publication shared that Tabu and Ajay have already given a nod for the sequel, makers are now busy finalizing the rest of the cast. Meanwhile all the paperwork required to acquire rights from the original creator of the sequel is almost sealed. Only thing yet to be confirmed is will Viacom 18 banner also join to co-producer the sequel.
TOI’s source informed, "Ajay and Tabu have agreed in principle to play the leads. The balance cast however is yet to be decided. The paperwork of buying the rights from the original's producer is almost done."
