Don 2: The Chase Continues released in 2006 and though
the sequel dropped major hints at a part 3, fans have waited long enough for
the project to be announced.
The wait is finally over. Shah Rukh will reprise his
role, the titular character of the charming yet devious Don, and Farhan play
the top-cop in the movie.
Farhan will not just be directing the 3rd instalment of
the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don, he will also be acting in it, says a report in
DNA.

A source told DNA, “He(Farhan) had bounced the idea off
to SRK, who liked it. Farhan had taken a break from acting and channelised all
his energy into developing the script for this film of
the Don franchise. He has finally locked the script and things are
moving in the right direction.”
Priyanka Chopra, who was part of Don and Don 2, will unfortunately not reprise her character, the feisty Roma. A new heroine is likely to be cast in the film. “The storyline is such that it doesn’t need Priyanka’s character. It’s likely to have a new cast, which will be locked soon,” the source reveals.
Looks like things are moving in the right direction for this action-packed drama to knock at our cinema screens very soon.
