If you are not over the madness and craziness of Dishoom starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and John Abraham, then don’t worry as the sequel to this film is in the making. Going by the latest news, the film is going to have a sequel and the shooting for the same is expected to go on floors next year. According to the Mumbai Mirror report, the first draft of the film is ready by Varun’s brother Rohit Dhawan and has been narrated to Varun as well as the maker of the film, Sajid Nadiadwala and they both have given the green signal to this project.

A source close to the development was quoted saying that Rohit has been working on multiple ideas for his next directorial for a while now and one of them was Dishoom. In the film, Varun aka Junaid character will be on a mission to track a threat. However, the report has no mention of Abraham and Fernandez, it is still unknown if his other co-stars will be coming on board or not. Well, since there’s still time to see Dishoom 2 on the big screens, are you excited for the same?


Meanwhile, apart from Dishoom 2, Varun Dhawan will be next seen Coolie No. 1 remake alongside Sara Ali Khan. This is the first time the two will be sharing the screen space and this has gained a lot of attention from the movie buffs. The next movie in his kitty has Sriram Raghavan’s next directorial venture based on the life of 1971 Indo-Pak war martyr Arun Khetarpal.
