Disco Dancer' Director B Subhash's Wife Gets Discharged, Filmmaker Says ‘My Wife Has Become Immobile; Adds ‘All My Money Has Dried Up’
Filmmaker B Subhash, best known for directing Mithun Chakraborty-starrer ‘Disco Dancer’, has revealed that his wife Tillottimma Babbar, who was in ICU for 25 days, has been discharged. As per the ETimes report, Subhash’s wife has been battling high blood pressure for several years. She lost both her kidneys and is on dialysis treatment. Tillottimma Babbar is also suffering from Interstitial lung disease due to which she was hospitalized and was on a ventilator.

While speaking with ETimes, B Subhash said his wife is now back home, but she has become immobile. She can't get up from the bed and walk. He was quoted saying, “My wife has become immobile now. She can't get up from the bed and walk. She talks and recognises people but chal-phir nahi sakti. The doctors say she will walk again after about 2 months. Let's hope and pray for the best.”

The 77-year-old director also expressed his gratitude to celebrities like Juhi Chawla, Dimple Kapadia, Anil Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhushan Kumar, Ratan Jain and Salman Khan for helping him with financial aid five years ago when his wife underwent dialysis treatments.
“I am grateful to all my friends who stood by me with financial aid in my very difficult time more so for the prayers and blessings my wife receives every single day from her well-wishers,” he added.

Talking about facing financial woes, B Subhash explained that a few of his films didn't do well at the box office which was a very big setback for him both financially and career-wise. He mentioned that the dynamics of the younger generation in the industry have completely changed. They opt to work with cooperates, big studios, younger directors, and technicians and this leaves filmmakers like him in a dilemma.

B Subhash’s daughter Swetha has registered with Ketto to raise funds for her mother’s hospitalization and further treatments. B Subhash has requested all his fans, friends, and well-wishers to contribute and help him.
