Dino Morea Expresses Being Unfortunate As He Was Unable To Work With Late Actor Asif Basra
Last week came saddening news about actor Asif Basra putting an end to his life due to suicide. Reports in the media revealed the actor was found hanging at his complex in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala. His death left model-actor Dino Morea's wish to work with him unfulfilled. The actor in conversation with ETimes revealed though he worked in the same web series which featured the late actor, unfortunately, did not have any part which would get Dino to share screen space with Asif.

He said, “I am extremely saddened by the loss. Though Asif was a part of the series which I featured in, I, unfortunately, didn’t get the opportunity to shoot with him.” So far the investigation in his case is on, as the late actor resided in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala for nearly 6 years before he was found dead. Many Bollywood celebs paid their tribute to Asif as they heard the news of the actor’s sudden death; he was aged 53.

He was last seen in web series, Hostages 2.


In Hostages 2 while Dino Morea played the role named Ranbir, the late actor was seen playing Asghar Nabi. Directed by Sachin Krishn, the series premiered on September 9, 2020. The late actor played some pivotal roles in hit movies such as Kai Po Che, Hichki, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Jab We Met and a few more. His last Hindi film outing was P Se Pyaar F Se Faraar, followed by a Malayalam film, Big Brother that starred Arbaaz Khan and Mohanlal.
