According to numerous media reports, the film "Aakhree Rasta," directed by K Bhagyraj, featured Amitabh Bachchan and Anupam Kher, with Jaya Prada and Dalip Tahil also in the cast. An enduring rumour surrounding the film suggests that Dalip Tahil was initially reluctant to perform a particular rape scene with Jaya Prada, but succumbed to pressure from the producer, who threatened to jeopardize his career. It's said that Dalip eventually agreed to the scene after Jaya Prada gave her consent. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when Dalip reportedly lost control and his actions crossed the line, leading to Jaya Prada slapping him for his misconduct. Interestingly, In a recent conversation with Siddharth Kanan, Dalip Tahil addressed the longstanding rumors surrounding Jaya Prada slapping him during an intimate shoot. In response to these reports, the actor expressed his amusement, as he clarified that he had never actually worked with Jaya Prada. He went on to challenge those spreading the rumors, asking them to specify the film in question.

Speaking about it the 70-year-old said, "When I read those reports, I was quite surprised. I really respect Jaya Prada ji, and she is one of the most beautiful actors. But I was wondering what is this film. Yeh kaunsi picture thi? If someone can point out which film it is, I would know. From what I know, I don’t think I have shared any screen time with her. I haven’t done any film with her." The veteran actor also made it clear that these reports are entirely fabricated. He pointed out that social media users have been inventing fictitious scenarios and spreading them in an attempt to tarnish his reputation.
