Veteran actor Rajesh Khanna was one of the most versatile stars in Bollywood. He and his actor wife Dimple Kapadia was loved by fans for their on-off screen chemistry. Dimple often shares unknown and interesting anecdotes about Rajesh during media interviews. As we speak of this, in an old interview, the actress had shared an incident when she was scolded by her husband Rajesh. Dimple revealed that the late actor once got angry with her after she advised him on how to greet the media.
Back in 2013, while speaking to Rediff, Dimple Kapadia recalled that when the couple was shooting for their film Jai Shiv Shanker, Rajesh was to greet the media despite being unwell. So, she suggested to him how to greet and appear in front of the media. However, Rajesh got a bit offended and asked her in stern stone if she will teach him about this.
On being asked how it was working with Rajesh, back then Dimple had said, “It was very nice. The film shaped up very well, but there were financial problems. One time he was not well while we were shooting and he was supposed to come out on the balcony and wave to the press. I handed him my shawl and sunglasses and told him nicely, ‘Kakaji, when you go out, don’t look straight, your side profile looks better.’ He just looked up at me and said sternly, ‘Ab tum mujhe sikhaogi? (Now you will teach me?)' I got so scared, folded my hands and apologised (enacts the whole thing). Oh, what a star! (smiles).” ALSO READ: A Biopic On The First Superstar Rajesh Khanna; Film To Be Backed By Nikhil Dwivedi And Directed By Farah Khan
