In a heartfelt conversation on The Debina Bonnerjee Show, Bharti opened up about her pregnancy journey, revealing the crucial role her husband played during this time. She shared that upon discovering she was pregnant, the couple received advice from their doctor to keep the news private for the first few months, even from their family. This led Haarsh to step up and support Bharti in every possible way. At the time, Bharti was working on the dance reality show Dance Deewane, and balancing her professional commitments with the challenges of early pregnancy was far from easy. Without the guidance or support of other women, Bharti found herself navigating the difficulties of pregnancy largely on her own. She recounted how she would discreetly vomit in her vanity van, turning off her microphone to ensure that no one on set overheard or became suspicious of her condition. Bharti emphasized the importance of her husband’s support during this time, stating, "Sabse bada dost apka pati hota hai, kyunki 4 months Haarsh ne mereko kaise sambhala hai." She credited Haarsh for being her rock, helping her maintain her professional commitments while keeping their pregnancy under wraps.

Bharti also shared how she managed to keep her pregnancy a secret by attributing any visible discomfort to acidity whenever someone asked. After the initial four months, when she finally revealed the news to her family, they were initially upset with her for not sharing it sooner but were ultimately happy for her. Despite their concerns and advice to take it easy, Bharti remained determined to continue working throughout her pregnancy.

During the same interview, Bharti reflected on her resolve to avoid burdening others during her pregnancy, a sentiment rooted in her own upbringing. She recalled how her mother had been entirely self-reliant when giving birth to her, only calling for a midwife to cut the umbilical cord, a service for which she paid just 60 rupees. Bharti poignantly remarked, "Mai ne bola tha mai kisi ko tang nahi karugi kyunki mai ne apni mummy ko dekha tha... Vo akeli thi, bas vo cord katne ke liye dai ko bulaya tha jisne 60 rupay liye the. Toh mai 60 Rs ka bacha hoon." This memory of her mother’s strength and independence profoundly influenced Bharti’s own approach to pregnancy, shaping her determination to manage everything with minimal assistance.

Bharti Singh’s story is a testament to her resilience and the unwavering support she received from her husband, Haarsh. Despite the challenges, she continued to work and pursue her passion, all while keeping a significant part of her life private until the time was right to share it with the world.
