Did Sonu Sood Take A DIG At Kangana Ranaut? Says, 'People Trying To Get Mileage Out Of Sushant's Death Is Very Unfortunate'
Sonu Sood is currently hitting the headlines for his heroics amid the global pandemic. The actor has not only helped lakhs of people reach home, but he's also proving to be a messiah for those in utmost need of other necessities. In a recent interview with Republic TV, Sonu Sood opened up on the whole insider vs outsider debate, while also taking a jibe at those trying to seek attention through Sushant Singh Rajput's death. His statements, though indirectly, sounded like a dig to Kangana Ranaut, who has been quite active in Sushant's death case. Right from calling out a streak of bigwigs of Bollywood to demanding a CBI; Kangana and her team are leaving no stone unturned.

The Dabangg actor said, "Lot of people trying to get mileage, over this subject, that’s very unfortunate. Imagine the family living in Patna, imagine what they must be going through. People who haven’t met him in their life, and they want to sit on a debate which is unfortunate." For those unaware, Sonu and Kangana had a major showdown on the sets of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. Things got so worse that he walked out of the film. Upon being asked if Sushant's tragic death will bring even a slight of change in the functioning of Bollywood, he added, " don’t know if the near talent will be treated fairly, it’s an eye-opener for many people. I am an outsider. I have been through places where a lot of established names are there, sometimes you feel out of place, you feel 'do you really belong to this place?'"

He added, "You will always feel that; don’t think it’s going to change. When an outsider comes to a party, people are going to hug him and welcome him, everything has changed and you are part of this industry, it’s not going to happen. An outsider will always remain an outsider, but you work hard and be successful.” (ALSO READ - Sushant Singh Rajput's Humble Reply To An Old News Report 'Questioning His Sanity'; Late Actor Had Said, 'Your Attempt To Mock Me Is Appreciated')

Addressing the nepotism debate, Sonu gave his son’s example. “I was an outsider when I came to Mumbai, and I struggled, it took me years and today too, I have miles to go, But if my son comes, life is going to be easy for him, it won’t be the struggle that I went through. It’s fine," stated Sood.
