Dia Mirza is the latest Bollywood celeb subjected to trolls. The actress recently appeared at the Jaipur Literature Festival on January 27 where she spoke about climate change. Dia was a part of panel discussion on climate change. While speaking about global warming and its impact, Dia broke down and said, “Don't hold back from being an empath. Don't be afraid of shedding your tears. Feel it. Feel the full extent of everything. It's good. It gives us strength. It does. And this is not a performance."

Soon after her break down video went viral on the Internet, social media didn’t seem to be pleased by the “acting” at the event. Dia Mirza is getting trolled mercilessly for her “overacting” and fake tears while talking about climate change. A user wrote, “Good try to be nominated for the best supporting ROLE ... Wonder if she performed this act when our soldiers were repeatedly martyred by the stone PELTING TERRORISTS...” Another said, “@deespeak could you please give me your SUV permanently and you travel Jaipur to Mumbai or Mumbai to Jaipur by cycle. A user even called her a fake attention seeker and said, “Drama queen, there are serious climate activists who give their entire life for it  but won’t get any recognition from the media whereas these fake attention seekers who travel in suv, chartered flight just to lecture common people on climate get all credit for doing nothing.”

A user named Sonia Bhatnagar called her overacting ki dukaan and said, “Overacting ki dukaan .@deespeak protecting environment takes more than shedding glycerine tears. Start using the metro, don't use a/c, perfumes, make-up, cars, turn vegan. Do this to make a beginning then will move to the next phase #DiaMirza”
