Deepika Padukone Took ‘8-10 Months’ To Plan Her Beach Wedding With Hubby Ranveer Singh; Actors Spill The Beans
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh opened up about hosting a beach wedding and how it took over 10 months of planning from the actress to make it happen
Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are the IT couple of Bollywood. Having been together for just over a decade now, they have been painting the town red with their love. For the very first time, they even graced Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan season 8 together. Before making an appearance on the show, where spoke in detail about their relationship, they shed light on it and their grand Indian wedding during a recent interview.
In an interaction with The Times Of India, Ranveer and Deepika opened up about their dreamy destination wedding in Italy. During the conversation, the Simmba actor revealed how it took around 8-10 months for his wife to plan the wedding. He added that she had to take some time out to “curate the wedding.” The actress also shed light on how hosting an Indian wedding on a beach is not an ideal thing, however, it all worked out for them. Talking about the same, the 37-year-old actress added that she initially wanted to host their wedding in India, as they both hail from the country. But when she came across Lake Como, Italy, she finalised the destination as it had nature and it could hold everyone they wanted to invite. For the unversed, the couple fell in love with each other while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there.
On the work front, last seen in Karan Johar’s comeback directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. He also has Singham 3 and Don 3 in his pipeline. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter and Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD in he pipeline. She had recently made the headlines for entering Rohit Shetty’s cop-universe as Shakti Shetty.
