Deepika Padukone was set to fly to France to be a part of Paris Fashion Week, however, the Bollywood star has cancelled her trip due to coronavirus scare.

The deadly coronavirus that originated in China has now spread all over the world. Killing thousands of people in China, now cases of coronavirus are being reported from almost every part of the world. France is not an exception. Some cases of coronavirus have been reported in France too. And because of this, Deepika Padukone has cancelled her trip to Paris. She was set to attend the ongoing Paris Fashion Week, but the lady has now called-off her trip.

Deepika Padukone was invited to attend the luxury fashion house Louis Vuittons' show, however, she is not going now. Deepika's spokesperson stated, "Deepika Padukone was scheduled to travel to France to attend Louis Vuitton’s FW2020 show at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week but has had to cancel her trip with news coming in that the coronavirus epidemic has now entered a new stage in France," as reported by news agency IANS. The coronavirus scare has indeed restricted the movement of people among countries.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in '83 opposite husband Ranveer Singh. She will be essaying the role of Romi Bhatia, Kapil Dev's film, in this sports drama. The first look of Deepika as Romi was recently released and we were left shocked to see their striking resemblance.


Apart from that she also has the remake of Robert De-Niro and Anne Hathway's film The Intern in her kitty. She will be sharing the screen space with Rishi Kapoor in this one. This film will release in 2021.
