Deepika Padukone's Saffron Bikini Controversy: BJP Leaders Demand BAN On ‘Pathaan’ For Hurting The Sentiments Of Hindu Community
BJP leaders have demanded a ban on Pathaan’s release in the wake of Deepika Padukone’s saffron-coloured bikini controversy
Deepika Padukone is facing severe backlash on social media for her bold avatar in Pathaan’s first song ‘Besharam Rang’. A certain section of people and several activists from Madhya Pradesh and the BJP party has raised an objection to Deepika wearing a saffron colour bikini in the song and thus they have demanded a ban of the film in MP as well as in Uttar Pradesh. BJP leaders alleged the makers of 'Pathaan' have insulted 'Sanatan culture’.
As reported by DNA, BJP leader Rajesh Kesarwani claimed the song ‘Besharam Rang’ is an insult to the Hindu community and Sanatan culture. He said, “Vulgarity with saffron colour was being committed in a song in the movie and it is an insult to the Hindu community and Sanatan culture. Hence, we have expressed our concern.” The activist from BJP also demanded immediate action to be taken against the makers. Even Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra called Deepika’s revealing outfits in the song “obscene and condemnable.”
Mishra went on to accuse the actress a supporter of the notorious ‘Tukde Tukde’ gang. In a statement, Mishra stated, “Deepika Padukone's costume is highly objectionable and the song has been shot with a dirty mindset. The scenes and costumes of the songs should be changed, or we will have to take a decision on its screening in Madhya Pradesh.” ALSO READ: Pathaan FIRST Song Besharam Rang OUT: Bikini Clad Deepika Padukone, Shirtless Shah Rukh Khan Ooze Hotness, Wow Fans With Their Sizzling Chemistry

‘Besharam Rang’ showed Deepika in sizzling bikini avatars and featured in her never seen before bold look. ‘Pathaan’, which marks Shah Rukh’s comeback after 4 years, is slated to hit the theatres on 25 January 2023.
