Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone enjoys a huge social media following. Currently enjoying her first pregnancy alongside her husband Ranveer Singh, she has been taking to her official handle to share glimpses of her pregnancy journey. Awaiting the release of her upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD, she took to her Instagram stories to share a quote about not seeking validation on social media by showing off ones life. Now the story has gone viral on Reddit leaving netizens with mixed reactions.
Deepika shared a cryptic note, that read, “The most convincing sign that someone is truly living their best life is their lack of desire to show the world that they’re living their best life. Your best life won’t seek validation,” and captioned the post, “Amen.” Well a Redditor took to the subreddit Bolly Blinds N Gossip to share the post, leaving the netizens irked. However, her fans came to defend her. It is to be noted that her post came days after she shared a video titled, “Me looking at my man every 5 seconds because he's the cutest most handsomest man I've ever seen,” and tagging Ranveer on it. As soon as the post went viral, netizens took to the comment section of the post to question why she has been sharing glimpses of her life on social media. Many even pointed out how she is ‘pretentious’ for sharing the quote on her Instagram story. Others dismissed the post by stating that she like to post such quotes on her story. One commented, “So many ppl triggered in this comment section lamo.” Another commented, “Exactly. Why are people so mad about a boring quote? Lol.” Other one said, “Deepu's got boomer energy. She is grandma soul. My mom shared something like this on FB last week. Having tied the knot with the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor in 2018, the couple is all set to welcome their first child in September 2024. They had taken to their official social media handle to share a collaborative post, in February, to announce their pregnancy.
On the work front, apart from Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika Padukone will also be entering Rohit Shetty’s cop universe as Shakti Shetty. She will mark her entry in the cop universe with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor starrer Singham Again. On the other hand, Ranveer also has Don 3 and Shaktimaan remake in his pipeline.
