Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh To Travel With Four Other People From Goa To Mumbai At 8:15 PM Via Charter Plane

Deepika Padukone is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Her name has now been linked to an alleged drug nexus of Bollywood. She has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning. She is expected to appear for interrogation tomorrow. For the same, she is going to return to Mumbai today from Goa. The Chhapaak actress flew down to Goa to shoot for her upcoming film directed by Shakun Batra. However, after her name emerged in drug-chats, the shooting for the same came to a halt.

As reported by Times Now, her husband Ranveer Singh too flew down to Goa to be by her side. Now, at around 8.15 pm, Deepika, Ranveer and four more people are expected to board a charter plane from Goa. Her manager Karishma Prakash too is said to be with them, and she'll be in the same plane as the couple. The Narcotics Control Bureau is said to have accessed some chats exchanged between Deepika and manager Karishma allegedly discussing maal and hash in the year 2017, and hence, sent summons to them for interrogation.

The Narcotics Control Bureau stepped in to expose the supposed drug nexus of Bollywood after a drug angle emerged in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Rhea Chakraborty, a reported prime accused in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, was arrested by NCB on September 8. She has been in judicial custody ever since then.


Apart from Deepika, names of other Bollywood stars like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, designer Simone Khambatta too have come to light.
