Dada J.P. Vaswani was a guiding light for me. About 28 years ago, I had the honour of being with him at a world religions conference in USA. His clarity of thought stood out. In 2013 I had visited Pune to inaugurate a nursing college associated with him. pic.twitter.com/w04X63haWS

According to a report in Hindustan Times, the mission was planning a big celebration on Vaswani’s 100th birthday which Narendra Modi was expected to attend. The Prime Minister, considered close to Vaswani, received generous praise from the Sindhi spiritual leader.
Modi visited the mission for the first time in 2013, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader LK Advani was among those who frequently visited the mission.
May his soul rest in peace.
