As if a pandemic was not enough to stir the world, cyclone Amphan took West Bengal by storm quiet literally. From the past few days, we are often coming across a few heartbreaking pictures and videos on social media that showcases the devastation caused in West Bengal due to the Cyclone Amphan. The Cyclone Amphan is the strongest storm ever recorded in the Bay of Bengal and hit India’s eastern coastline on Wednesday. On Tuesday night, as the cyclonic storm approached the states of West Bengal and Odisha, it has affected major parts of Kolkata.
Taking to Instagram, Bebo joins the bandwagon of celebrities who have been praying of West Bengal. Sharing pictures of the aftermath of Cyclone Amphan, Kareena Kapoor wrote, “We all need to think.” Via her post the Good Newwz actress asked people to introspect before complaining about their problems. The last picture of the post takes a jibe at people who are complaining about getting bored.
The message reads, “Bored of Banana breads. Zoom calls. Living in pyjamas. Sleeping at 5 am. Netflix and chilling. The price of avocados. Cooking demos. No new shows on Netflix. Couriers stopped. Do domestic airlines are flying. Gyms are shut. So bored yaa. No Haircut appointments. Hair on your upper lip. Missing dressing up. Missing Friday nights. What are your problems?”
