Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal released a joint statement announcing the birth of their daughter
Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who tied the knot in 2022, in the presence of their family and friends, welcomed their first child, a beautiful and health baby girl on Thursday, July 16th, 2024. The couple joyfully announced the arrival of their precious little munchkin with a joint statement. Expressing their happiness at the new addition in their family, theur stated that their families are also over the moon. Quoted by India.com, the statement read, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are over joyed and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings!”
It is to be noted that just a before going into labour, the 37-year-old actress has taken to her official social media handles to drop a few photos from pregnancy photoshoot. Sharing the monochromatic pictures where her husband is seen caressing her tummy, she credited Ali for being her partner throughout her pregnancy. For those who don’t remember, Richa tied the knot with Ali in October 2022. Having met on the sets of Fukrey in 2012, they gradually fell in love and have been setting couple goals ever since. Having married under the Special Marriage Act, their fairytale love story is adored by their fans.
Opening up about their plans on their child’s upbringing, she had told Hindustan Times, “We have had very free upbringings where no restrictions were placed on us by our parents. So, I think we will do the same. We will also surely try to inculcate the spirit of curiosity in the child.”
On the work front, Richa Chadha was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Her portrayal of Lajjo was lauded by the audience, despite her limited screen appearance. On the other hand, Ali Fazal will be seen in the third season of Mirzapur, which is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video.
