CONFIRMED: Vikrant Massey To Star Opposite Sonam Kapoor In The Hindi Remake Of Blind- EXCLUSIVE

Some time ago, it was reported that actress Sonam Kapoor has landed the prime role in a female-centric film which will be helmed by Shome Makhija while Sujoy Ghosh will be the creative producer. The movie in question is the official Hindi remake of the 2011 Korean flick called Blind.
Sonam will be seen playing the role of a blind girl in the film and this is the first time that the actress is essaying the character of a visually impaired girl. While this report has been floating since quite some time now, the name of the male lead hadn’t made it in the news so far.
The story of Blind is about an ex-cop who goes blind in an accident that happens while she hunts down a criminal and how she chases him down in spite her physical disability, is what forms the crux of the plot. So, Sonam essays the role of Min Soo-ah originally played by Kim Ha-neul, while Vikrant plays Kwon G-seob essayed by Yoo Seung-ho.
SpotboyE.com brings you the confirmed name and it’s none other than Vikrant Massey. The actor will be seen romancing Sonam in the movie. Vikrant is on a career high as he has Chhapaak opposite Deepika Padukone, then he also has Ginny Weds Sunny with Yami Gautam.
The trailer of Chhapaak is just a day away, and the actor is naturally excited. On the personal front too, he’s in a happy space as he recently had a roka ceremony with girlfriend Sheetal Thakur.
Coming back to Sujoy’s film starring Sonam and Vikrant, it’s for the first time that the actors will be seen sharing screen space together.
Blind was directed by Ahn-Sang hoon and it starred Kim Ha-neul and Yoo Seung-ho in main roles.
