Jay-Z made his India debut at the Global Citizen India concert with his hit Bounce, set against a sample of AR Rahman's tune Chaiya Chaiya.
What followed was a memorable set of the superstar's hits including 99 Problems, In Paris, Drunk In Love and his Panjabi MC collaboration Beware Of The Boyz.
After Jay-Z got the crowd going, it was time for Ranveer Singh to perform.

The Bollywood actor made sure that the energy did not dip as he got on stage in full Bajirao Mastani costume and danced to Malhari, A quick costume change and we saw him in Befikre mode as he danced to Nashe Si Chad Gayi.
The event of the year began at the MMRDA grounds with Bollywood stars taking to the stage to introduce the goals of Global Citizen, the international charity which has bought Coldplay and Jay-Z to India.
The evening started with Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor taking the stage and then the A-list of Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Karan Johar, Vivek Oberoi, Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor pledged their support to the causes of health, education and sanitation in the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi too joined in through video conference to send out a message to the 70,000-strong crowd who had gathered at the MMRDA grounds in Mumbai.
