Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey's Chhapaak faced a lot of problem before the release of the film. After standing in solidarity with Jawaharlal Nehru University’s President Aishe Ghosh and students who were attacked on campus by masked men, a group of anti-Deepika even tried to boycott Chhapaak, not only this, boycott Deepika was also trending on Twitter. Now that the film is released and kicked off on a decent note at the box-office, despite the boycott, we have heard that the film has fallen prey to piracy, courtesy - TamilRockers.
That's right, Deepika Padukone and Vikrant starrer has now fallen prey to piracy as Tamilrockers have leaked the film online. For the uninitiated, TamilRockers is a piracy website which is infamous for leaking films online, however, what is shocking is that it got leaked on the release day that too within a few hours. As the film is now available online, we wonder what will be the fate of the film at the box-office. Meanwhile, Meghna Gulzar's directorial has raked in Rs, 4.77 crore at the box-office which is less than Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior which also released on January 10, 2020.
