Perks of being a royal celebrity kid. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s one-and-half-month-old son Taimur is getting a royal treatment as gifts are pouring in for him. A huge goodie bag by My Baby Babbles consisting of customised Birth statistics frame, pashmina shawl, sophie teether, animal bath wrap, baby log book, baby memory letter book, laundry basket, ethnic wear and a personalised onesie has arrived for him which is worth around Rs 30,000.

Earlier you got glimpse of Taimur’s royal nursery, which was designed by Ritakshi Arora. The nursery had a classy look with a light-coloured cot and striped walls.

Taimur’s naamkaran had created a lot of buzz after Saif announced his name, after the emperor who conquered all of Central Asia. The name also means iron in Persian. The actor is a history buff and picked the unconventional name. Kareena too liked the name and today it is on everyone’s lips. But his name started to trend for all the wrong reasons after a few Twitteratis posted some nauseating tweets about his name. Reason? Simply because Taimur reminds them of the cruel despot king Timur.The manner in which the newborn and his parents have been trolled ever since Saif announced the child's name in the media, wasn’t even funny. We wanted the couple to be left alone, and thankfully the controversy died down in a few days.
