Celina Jaitly's Newborn Son's Death: Actress Opens Up About Losing One Of Her Twins In 2017; Says, ‘Took Me 5 Years To Come To Terms’
Celina Jaitly has opened up about losing one of her premature newborn twins in 2017 due to a heart condition
Bollywood actress Celina Jaitely is currently busy living her best life with husband Peter Haag and their kids twins Winston, Viraaj and the youngest Arthur. The mother of three recently opened up about losing Arthur’s twin Shamsher due to a heart condition in 2017. Taking to her official social media handle, she wrote a heartfelt post where she revisited the feelings of losing her premature newborn son. She went on to give hope to new parents who might suffer from something similar.
On Wednesday, Celina took to her Instagram handle to share her only picture with Shamsher “to seal a happy memory for our blessing baby” Arthur. Expressing how it took her 5 years to come to terms with this phase of their life, she “finally summoned the courage to talk about my ordeal to help many parents.” She spoke extensively about dealing with the trauma of a preterm birth and losing the baby in the process. However, she also added, “Preemies show us the power of faith and prayer and the fight of the human spirit. The 41-year-old recalled how she went into labour at 32 weeks because of her father’s sudden passing. A part of her caption read, “The outcome of our 2nd spontaneous twin pregnancy was bittersweet due to baby Shamsher’s loss due to a heart condition. ( I went into labour at 32 weeks due to my father's sudden passing.) For the unversed, having made her bollywood debut with Feroz Khan and Fardeen Khan's Janasheen, Celina went on to star in many movies like Apna Sapna Money Money, Golmaal Returns and No Entry. She tied the knot with Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier, Peter Haag in 2011 and welcomed her first set of twins Winston and Viraaj in 2012. The couple went on to have another set of twins Arthur and Shamsher in 2017.
