Case Against Big B And Abhishek For Insulting Indian Flag

Trouble doesn’t seem to be ending for the Bachchan family.

First a case was filed against Aishwarya Bachchan over her Kalyan Jewellers print ad, followed by a case against Amitabh Bachchan over the Maggi row. A few days back, we also told you how Aishwarya was served a legal notice over the Sarbjit Singh biopic.

Now, a case has been filed against Big B and his son Abhishek for covering their bodies with the Indian tricolour in an ‘insulting manner.

The incident in question is when the actors were seen with the national flag during the India-Pakistan World Cup cricket match in Adelaide on February 15.

The case has been filed by Chetan Dhiman at a Ghaziabad court. Dhimans lawyer, Sanjeev Sharma said that Dhiman and five of his friends saw the actor wearing the Indian flag. He mentioned that the superstar and his son have downgraded the countrys reputation by such an act.

Their acts have been covered under The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, and the Flag Code of India, 2002, and both should be summoned before the court to face trial.
