Buzz: Alia-Varun's Loss Is Sonakshi-Aditya's Gain
Rumors are flying thick and fast in tinsel town that Bollywood will see a fresh on-screen pair soon.

Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur have been approached to star in the Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam's Tamil film OK Kanmani.

Director Shaad Ali wanted Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan as the lead pair and had even organised a special screening of the film for Karan Johar's discoveries (Varun, Alia To Star In A Remake Of Mani Ratnam's Film?, May 25). Clearly, both young actors are so busy that they cannot accommodate Shaad's film immediately.

Incidentally, this was not the first time that Alia had been approached for OK Kanmani. She was asked to be a part of the Tamil version too, but had declined.
OK Kanmani had Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen portraying a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai.
