BREAKING: SLB's Padmavati WILL RELEASE In UK Only After It Hits Screens In India
Here's an EXCLUSIVE update on the certification of SLB'S Padmavati in UK, which will disappoint fans across seas...
This morning, it
was reported that Padmavati has received a censor certificate from the BBFC (British Board Of Film Classification)
and will release on its scheduled date of Dec 1 in United Kingdom.
However,
SpotboyE.com has it from its reliable sources and we bring to you FIRST that the film has got certified
but will NOT release in UK until it hits screens in India.
Serial petitioner lawyer ML Sharma submitted a plea in Supreme Court and said false submissions were made by Viacom at the last
hearing.
Court has given liberty to file fresh petition which will
likely be heard on Nov 28.
The British
Censor Board certified Padmavati as 12 A and Twitter post on BBFC's official
account confirms the news:
PADMAVATI (12A) moderate violence, injury detail https://t.co/2S1pF33WVN
— BBFC (@BBFC) November 22, 2017
However, this
certification is only a part of their process which the officials duly
followed.
Well, if the film
had released across the seas on Dec 1, there would have been high chances of it
being leaked online. The piracy would have further damaged Bhansali’s film,
which is already running in deep waters.
Meanwhile, the latest on the film’s release in India is
that even Gujarat has demanded a ban on the film in its state, along with
Madhya Pradesh. Talking about the fresh release date of SLB’s film, SpotboyE.com
was the first one to tell you that Padmavati’s release date has been shifted
to Feb 14 now.
